Each day is filled with activities, some are planned by campers and leaders together, others by the staff. Activities may include: Archery, Bible Study, Campfires, Canoeing, Swimming, Service Projects and more...

Church camp is full of fun, laughter, new friends and Christian values. Camp Mo-Val and Shannondale offer summer camps for youth, families, adults with special needs and seniors! Teens can experience canoe camp, leadership training, middle and high school camp. There are also opportunities to be a camp counselor, health aid, and more.

SUMMER CAMP 2009 - BREAKTHROUGH.....

is our theme this summer. The gospels offer many accounts of those who encountered the ministry of Jesus. Some met Jesus with negativity or indifference, but for many others, encountering Jesus was a transformative experience that radically changed the way they saw themselves. Gof and the rest of the world.  This summer, campers will be invited to hear some of these stories of transformation.  Through engaging with these stories and sharing in the camp community, campers will imagine the possibilities for BREAKING THROUGH to experience the life-changing grace and love that jesus brings.

 

2009 Camp Season runs from June 14th - September 17th. Young or first time campers come for Discovery, Primary or Lower Junior Camp. Third through sixth graders enjoy Junior, Upper Junior and Outback camp. And new this year e-JAMM - Experience Jesus through Art, Music & MoVal. Older kids breeze along the current river at Shannondale for canoe camp. And enjoy the out door living in Tambo Village for High School Camp. 

 

Thanks to the completed MoVal Capital Campaign, many renovations have been made to including remodeled lakeside cabins. With the end of the campaign we hope to bring the joy of church camp to many children, both new campers and those returning, for years to come.
